• Emotional state check-in responses (10 questions)
• Mood result category determined by your responses
• Persona selection (artist voice preference)
• Whether you are taking the check-in for yourself or someone in your life

• Device type, operating system, and browser information
• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Platform usage data, including pages visited, features accessed, and session duration
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Calibrated Music Library platform
• Deliver personalized music prescriptions based on emotional state intake
• Communicate with you regarding your account, platform updates, and service announcements
• Send promotional content and wellness resources when you have opted in to receive them
• Analyze usage patterns to improve content, features, and user experience
• Fulfill obligations under institutional partnership or licensing agreements
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your emotional state intake data for advertising targeting or resale.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers and technology partners who support platform operations, under confidentiality obligations. These currently include Supabase (database and data storage) and Resend (email delivery)
• With institutional partners through whom you access the platform, to the extent required to fulfill the terms of the institutional agreement and only in a manner consistent with this Policy
• In response to a valid legal process, court order, or government inquiry
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of Company assets, provided that the successor entity agrees to honor this Privacy Policy
• With your consent, in any other circumstance not described above

Emotional state intake data is sensitive. We treat it accordingly. This data is used solely to power the music prescription function of the platform. It is not shared with employers, insurers, law enforcement, or any third party without your express consent, except as required by law.

Aggregate and de-identified emotional state data may be used internally to evaluate platform effectiveness, improve the prescription algorithm, and develop research insights. Aggregate data cannot be used to identify individual users.

The platform may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember user preferences, and analyze platform performance. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, some platform features may not function properly without them.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral tracking for ad targeting purposes.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with legal obligations. When personal information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our internal data retention practices.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your data.
